Why people from skopia insist that they are Macedonians? They dont even speak greek!?

Alexander the Great and ancient macedonians language was greek. And history is so clear about who is or not deserve to be called macedonian. What is going on any political plans or something? Expanding of skopia? If Skopia people are Macedonian are Greeks too so why they dont join the Greek country to become one?
