In greek mythology, who was the first person to write about the Hades? Or if you don't know, in what story is he first mentioned?

It was Homer, I believe it was in The Odyssey
I am guessing an ancient greek scholar: probably Homer. D’oh!
For sure Homer, who is the first famous ancient greek author. I’m not sure though, if the first mention of Hades was in Iliad (his oldest work), but in Odyssey in λ rapsody, which is called the rapsody of the dead (Νεκυια), a description of Hades (Hades is both the god and the underworld) is made.
