What is a good resource to learn about Greek-American heritage?

I recently learned I am 50% Greek. My birth-father was born in Athens. We don't have a relationship, but I'd love to learn about my Greek heritage so that I can pass it to my children. Are there any websites or organizations that could help? I thought about contacting my local Greek school. What do you think?
