Can anyone help me learn basic Greek?

I dated this wonderful Greek guy for about a year and he recently proposed me. I accepted but the thing is that I have yet to meet his family. I want to make a good impression on them and I want to surprise my fiancé by learning some Greek. Can anyone please help me learn some basic phrases. Email me if you can or post some simple phrases that I might need to know.

At the moment I'm preparing for an experiment of trying to make it possible to conversate in Ancient Greek, do you guys have any advices that can help me to find basic phrases of the language for example to make a start and to improve?
e.g. with Latin it already worked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqOFnYgyRr8

I'm trying to translate words and phrases from English to Greek and/or Ancient Greek, but I've had great difficulty finding an online dictionary that translates according to these two conditions...

(1) The Greek words must be in the Latin alphabet (i.e. a, b, c) NOT in the Greek alphabet (i.e. alpha, betta, gamma), and

(2) It must also NOT be "Greeklish" - the transliteration of the Greek Alphabet (i.e. letter-by-letter converstion of delta to D and gamma to G), but rather an OFFICIAL translation for that word.

I'm not sure how else to express it, but perhaps an example will help... In Greek "helios" means "sun" and "deus" means "god" and "hypnos means "sleep". These are translations in the Latin alphabet that are not transliterations. What I am looking for is a resource (preferably online) that translates any other English word (like "source" or freedom" or "flow") in that way.

If you have any information on such a website, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

I want these 4 phrases/words translated into Greek and also I good source to double check them all.

People who speak Greek?

Well I'm half Greek, but I don't speak the language. I don't plan on becoming fluent in Greek right now, but I'd like to learn a few phrases. So I need to know how to pronounce Greek letters. How do you pronounce the vowels? And are there any consonants that have a different pronunciation? Oh and if you want you can tell me a few phrases.
Actually I am well aware that Greek has a different alphabet. I can't read Greek. So I meant words and phrases that would be written in our alphabet so I can read them.

Speak Greek?

My boss speaks Greek, and I would like to knock his socks off by answering him in Greek or just speaking to him in his native language. Does anyone know of a free website where I might be able to learn a few phrases?
