if anyone can speak cypriot greek, can they please tell me how you would approximate a spelling in greek, of the phrase that sounds like "indan pwnei re;" meaning "what you saying?"
in cypriot greek there is an expression <<Ίνταν πόνειν ρε;>> it means roughly "hey whatchya sayin?"....but is this the best approximation in greek script??

I'm curious to know how the phrase "It's all greek to me" got translated into Greek. It's been ages since I studied the greek alphabet but I will try to transliterate what it said:
Emena mou phainontai alampourneyika.
Ευχαριστώ!
I think I can actually post it in Greek:
Εμένα μου φαιυουται αλαμπουρνέζικα

I'm trying to find "Romans 11:17-21" as it would appear in ancient greek (the book itself, not the actual verse) I would also like to see the phrase "Grafted in". It would also be helpful if someone could tell me whether using roman numerals to depict verse numbers is appropriate for a christian and if so how to depict the verses above. thanks

An old family friend recently left me a message, but I find it difficult communicating as I do not speak Greek. Translators do not work as the phrase is in English and not Greek. Appreciated in advance!

I want to get a tattoo of the phrase "carry your shield or come home on it" In my searches i came up with this:
φέρτε την ασπίδα σας ή ελάτε κατ' οίκον σε την
I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this is an accurate translation. If not could somebody give me one? thank you.
