Can anyone speak Greek?

Έτσι, μπορέστε εσείς το κάνει;

Is that read "etsi, mporeste eteis to kavei;" ???
It was translated with a greek translator, and then used a Greek Alphabet with sounds to figure that out, so I may be very wrong.

Pronunciation of the Greek alphabet?

Hello all, I'm studying the Greek alphabet, and I want to know what the Greek pronunciation is. The way I'm saying the letters are as follows:

Alpha - All-Pha
Beta - Bee-tah
Gamma - Ga-ma (the g is a kind of throat-like sound)
Delta - Thel-tah
Epsilon - Ep-see-lone
Zeta - Zee-tah
Eta - Ee-tah
Theta - Thee-tah
Iota - Ee-oh-tah
Kappa - Ka-pah (throat-like sound on the k)
Lambda - Lamb-tha
Mu - Mee
Nu - Nee
Xi - Zee
Omicron -Oh-mee-kron
Pi - Pee
Rho - Roh
Sigma -Seeg-mah
Tau - Tau
Upsilon - Oops-ee-lon
Phi - Phee
Chi -Kye
Psi -Psee
Omega - Oh-meh-gah

Am I pronouncing them correctly, or is the correct pronunciation how they normally do it in America?
(Al-Phu, Bay-Tuh, Gamm-muh, Del-Tuh, etc.)

Wanting to speak Greek?

But everytime I read a translation in a book or on the web, it always does it in the greek alphabet, and I never can know how to actually say the word.
My mom speaks greek

I've essentially memorized the Greek ALPHABET and don't know Greek. So, I want to know what it's called when you write English in Greek writing so I can read stuff like that in books and online and what not. Please help!

I'm supposed to write my teacher a short letter in greek and have no idea how to write professor using the greek alphabet.
***Using the greek alphabet (not google translator)***

I'm curious to know how the phrase "It's all greek to me" got translated into Greek. It's been ages since I studied the greek alphabet but I will try to transliterate what it said:

Emena mou phainontai alampourneyika.

Ευχαριστώ!
I think I can actually post it in Greek:

Εμένα μου φαιυουται αλαμπουρνέζικα

I would love to hear little kids recite the modern Greek alphabet as I did with the English alphabet when I was a kid. I'm talking about audio or video here, people! Please don't link me to Wikipedia or Youtube. Guess what: I've been there!
Wendy,

Thanks for your effort, but these are both examples of Americans singing the alphabet. When I typed "modern Greek alphabet," I meant as a modern Greek speaker would learn it and recite it.

Can anyone write this in Greek?

I need to know how to say:

Do you know if *insert name here* hates me? Or if he is angry at me?

And can you write it in Latin letters (The person I'm sending it to doesn't know the greek alphabet well)

I have an online friend who lives in Athens, and her computer breaks a lot, so we'd like to send each other physical letters. She sent me the way to address an envelope to her with the words in Greek but spelled with our alphabet. But would I have to write the envelope in the Greek alphabet? It would confuse my post office, but maybe not hers. She can send me the info written in Greek. I'm not sure which one I would have to do in order to get my letter to her.

I'm trying to translate words and phrases from English to Greek and/or Ancient Greek, but I've had great difficulty finding an online dictionary that translates according to these two conditions...

(1) The Greek words must be in the Latin alphabet (i.e. a, b, c) NOT in the Greek alphabet (i.e. alpha, betta, gamma), and

(2) It must also NOT be "Greeklish" - the transliteration of the Greek Alphabet (i.e. letter-by-letter converstion of delta to D and gamma to G), but rather an OFFICIAL translation for that word.

I'm not sure how else to express it, but perhaps an example will help... In Greek "helios" means "sun" and "deus" means "god" and "hypnos means "sleep". These are translations in the Latin alphabet that are not transliterations. What I am looking for is a resource (preferably online) that translates any other English word (like "source" or freedom" or "flow") in that way.

If you have any information on such a website, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

Oliver, please in greek alphabet thanks

I'm not looking for a Greek translation of the Latin word, just a graphical representation of what it would look like using the Greek alphabet while keeping the Latin pronunciation: in-vik-tuhs.

Hi everyone,
I am currently trying to figure out this Greek translation. It is definitely a code because none of these Greek alphabet/words make any sense.

So if anyone can help me with this, whether it be translating or just helping me decipher the code, it would be much appreciated.

The translation is here:
