Shouldn't Obama appoint a Greek American to the Supreme Court?

We hear talk of appointing a Hispanic to the Supreme Court...I think a better pick would be a Greek American. Greek Americans are in the minority. There are fewer of them than Hispanics.

You’re right. There are far fewer Greek-Americans; and that is precisely why the next appointee isn’t going to be a Greek-American. It’s all about V.O.T.E.S.
Hispanics are the largest ethnic minority in the USA; they have no members on the Supreme Court, and Obama is going to want to secure their support for his re-election bid in 2012.
Make sense?
He will appoint a pro abortion, pro illegal immigrant, pro terrorist, pro big government, anti-gun, anti-free speech Liberal.
Watch.
My Big Fat American Greek Congress?
. . . . and it’s probably easier to find an extreme leftist self-declared enemy of The Constitution* among the Hispanic population.
A commie will appoint a commie
I was considering the choices he could make, especially based on what he said when running around the Country making speeches, even before he was a candidate.
My suggestion based on what he said back then would be: a young person, a female, a minority (you decide what the minority would be), disabled, with a wide range of ideals – not mainstream liberal or conservative and probably not from one of the Courts of Appeal. Or at least that is how _I_ heard it.
Greek-American is fine with me. But why not Chinese-American or Croation-American or … I mean, really, when and why do we select on race or racial heritage rather than on temperament and ability?!
You raised an interesting question, but if it were me…sex, racial/ethnic background, their physical ability would not come into play. Well, their physical ability to serve…but not a handicap such as only one arm or one leg or things along that line…they can serve.
All I can is that he proposes and the Senate gives final approval and they are confirmed. You would have to ask the President and Senate to look to (consieder) Greek-American jurists rather than the Hispancs… Are there jurists which are Grecko-American?
good question.
