I like listen to greek songs. I think that way of tongue moving is interesting I like to watch it ;) My favorite words are this with "th" like "niotho"(feel ?) and "thelo" ( want ?) I like also "tzaki"(fireplace); "oxi"(no) ; "gata"(cat); "glika" (sweet)and "kiriaki"(sunday) Even so i can't stand when somebody shouts in greek(especially women) It's horrible experience for ears ;) …for me it sounds beautiful and also very funny !! It's funny because his family always tells me there are only 2 nationalities - Greeks and non-Greeks. I enjoy any foreign language but it's hard when people speak foreign right in front of you as if you don't exist. That's what I don't like. I’m American and my husband is Greek. If the voice is clear and soothing and sensual and it is reading say poetry with meter and rhyme the sounds are great. I have noticed I am a louder person now - I like the language it's strong unlike French/Italian which sound weak to me.
