ideas on how to write a greek mythology story?
Ok. so my assignment is to make up my own myth using gods and goddesses basing the story on the origin of something. I kinda want to do it on the origin of pain and suffering or something like that. But it would be REALLY helpful if you gave me some ideas. =) Please!~
THANKS!!!!!!!!~

Hello
I’m studying Greek mythology in school and I hate it. It just seems so, so, made-up. They are like silly explanations for the origins of common things.
How about how the first broken bone started. Maybe Athena got mad at someone and broke them.
Or how tears and crying came about. Maybe a river nymph and Zeus started that because Hera destroyed the nymph because she was jealous and Zeus loved the nymph.
What about an origin of a broken or betrayed heart? And all the pain that goes along with it. Maybe using Aphrodite.
What about the origin of a gruesome disease. I think Pandora’s box let out disease, but maybe you can focus on one. Hera is evil enough to create and bestow disease. What she did to Echo is awful.
Well, I can’t think of anything else.

How rain first started.
How people got fat
How love first started.
