I am half Greek and really would like to learn more about the heritage and traditions. My family lives in Greece, and they don't speak English so they can't help me. Anyone know a good place to learn the language and about Greek traditions? You are amazing! Thank you so much!

If you are in Greece, I would strongly recommend that you do a course at the Athens Centre — I have done 4 of their courses and they are very good. If you are not in Greece, try to get a local teacher – ask at the local church or a Greek heritage school for children. There are basic courses, if that’s not too elementary for you, on LiveMocha.com, a language site where you do online courses and exercises, and can submit your excercises for correction by a native speaker. It is free for the basic services, but you will get requests to correct exercises people have done in English. There is also a good online course done by a radio station in Cyprus. We call each other malakas so you’re a half malaka.
livemocha.com is the best website, im using it now
also you can meet native greeks and talk to them, i highly recommend it!
