Sorry you got poopy answers, that’s no help. I’m an English teacher and I’m familiar with the myths. Since you know you have to write your own myths, make sure you include Greek names of already existing gods, don’t make up your own. So you should check out this site: http://www.mythome.org/greek.html and you can use some of those. I assume you’re fairly familiar with the Gods, Goddesses, and their relationships and what they are in charge of. Another good idea might be to have a hero. The easiest one would be something like "why does it thunder," then you could talk about how Zeus’ wife Hera cheated on him with a human man during a storm (Zeus would be busy throwing lightening bolts made by Hephestus…no thunder of course), so his wife decided to cheat on him while he was busy. (You know how many times Zeus cheated on her and she never left him, right?). Anyway, then you can talk about how Zeus discovers their relationship, and now every time there’s a thunderstorm, it’s Zeus stomping around and growling about his cheating wife, and it usually comes before the lightening! Hope that helps!

I suggest you put down the remote and bag of chips and write this assignment out in the thirty minutes it’ll take you to do it. Not like it’s difficult. Make something clever up about why it thunders. Hell!
