Do you want to be posted to the NATO base in Crete? If you can read, even write some Greek, apply for it,but find out more about the base there and also ask what kind of personnel they might need there.
But search well my friend and not in internet;there are offices you can ask and army personnel who know...
I am not American but I have served in the Greek Officer Corps and I am giving to you these directions out of experience;elpizw na katalaves

Somewhat doubtful...do you know of any installations nearby? That's a pretty exotic duty station from what I know of the Navy/Marine Corps. Depending on your rate, you may be stationed somewhere in Europe--I know the Navy has stations in Spain and Italy. At least you'd be a couple-hour plane ride from Greece.

You generally don't get much choice in duty station, especially your first one. My entire MOS school class got Okinawa. When my tour there was up, I could either stay in Okinawa, or choose between the West Coast and East Coast--couldn't even pick a specific base. Your choice has *some* influence when you rotate, and you have more influence if/when you re-enlist.
