I'd like to know how to write them in a more modern, secular context.
please put them in uppercase characters.
for example the word, 'Athena'
So, in modern Greek they are: Απόλλων - Αθηνά.
Uppercase: ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ - ΑΘΗΝΑ
Picture reference would be great too!
Thanks

Greece in Modern Greek is Ελλάδα /ellada/
Uppercase: EΛΛAΔA
Greece – GREECE
Ελλάδα – ΕΛΛΑΔΑ
It was hard to find a picture to show it to you to believe me but I found it!

It says Ellada (ΕΛΛΑΔΑ) on the mainland and Crete (ΚΡΗΤΗ) for the island in red.
