I need to know because i have to read four books from a british author, so if the author you say has four or more books than that would be great.
I mean to say do they write "stories" that involve mythology like the Percy Jackson series.

Do all 4 books have to be about mythology, and from the same author, or is this simply a preference?
Thats tough… Jeanette Winterson and Sally Vickers each wrote a good book as a contribution to the Canongate Myth Series, "Weight" and "Where Three Roads Meet" respectively, but aside from that, have written books only on other subjects.
Mary Renault wrote "The King Must Die" and "The Bull from the Sea" about Theseus, son of Poseidon, but that’s as close as I can get you without having to recommend a bunch of kid’s picture books.
Good Luck!
All authors no matter what country they come from write about the history of Egyptian and Greek and the Romans…….
That’s a tough one. The only one that springs to mind is Gerald Gardner’s "A goddess arrives" (published by IHO books – try a good occult bookshop) … I would describe it as a Greek mythological fantasy. Not an easy read by any means.
