Things like Romeo and Juliet are based on or similar to the brief story of lovers Pyramus and Thisbe.
It does not have to be a myth from Mythology I am open to all ideas.

I remember from when I was skimming a book in the library I think to find a good book, I picked up a Greek Mythology one, and it talked about a lady and a unicorn, but this unicorn was nothing like the ones you'd think they'd be, but rather blood red with scary eyes. My memory is fuzzy, but is it true that in Greek Mythology, there were indeed unicorns, even if they were rare?

Epsilon - Ep-see-lone
Zeta - Zee-tah

Kappa - Ka-pah (throat-like sound on the k)
Lambda - Lamb-tha
Mu - Mee
Nu - Nee

Omicron -Oh-mee-kron
Pi - Pee
Rho - Roh
Sigma -Seeg-mah
Tau - Tau
Upsilon - Oops-ee-lon
Phi - Phee
Chi -Kye
Psi -Psee
Omega - Oh-meh-gah
Am I pronouncing them correctly, or is the correct pronunciation how they normally do it in America?
(Al-Phu, Bay-Tuh, Gamm-muh, Del-Tuh, etc.)
I would prefer native speakers
and you could either transliterate it to english or leave it in the greek either way.

-hey handsome, are you ready to lure these customers with your good looks?
-alright, enough Greek, switch back to english please.

-do you see anything you like?

My mom speaks greek
My sister is going there for a week this summer, and she doesn't know any Greek. Not even hello, thanks, etc. She is going to go to the mostly tourist sites like Athens, so do they speak some English there? Also, she wants to know if it is hard to learn basic Greek. Just simple/everyday terms that would help her communicate
Thanks!
Well we are talking about balanced budgets, so obviously it must not be a conservative party.
I be right. It was the socialists.
Greek MP expelled from socialist party for voting against austerity bill

Dick,
So I guess balanced budgets are socialists now? Must be because they raised taxes as well as cut spending.
please translate this to english

I want to compare statistics to Islamic statistics.
According to a site I found, will not post link due to question errors when I DO post links, 90% of Muslims don't speak Arabic. Therefore 10% DO speak Arabic, the language that the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, was written in.
1.5 billion Muslims, 150 million Muslims speak Arabic. Of course the Arabic in the Qur'an differs from the Arabic spoken today but the main message is understood. Compare this to Old English where 'you' was 'thou' or 'ye' and etc. Similarly, I think, Arabic is the same.
So 2 billion Christians, most Christians have Spanish or Portugese, some Hispanic language, as their native tongue. How many know Greek and Hebrew?
The Greek part being the New Testament.
What percentage? Or what number, and since you're answering could you post a link that I could refer to?
@Prophet, I don't deny that, the smartest person I know at my age is Catholic, well smart in most things. Please answer the question.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I'm not talking about the nation and governments and what not. But normal family living. How has it changed?
Hi, Is there anyone greek here I could send something in Greek ? I need to know what it means but can't use a translator as it is written using the normal alphabet. thanks
Well, Im half greek, & I know that they add "itsa" or "aki/naki" to their names, & I think it's cute. Like, my cousin's name is Mihalia, & everyone calls her Mihalitsa. So my name is Maria, & my friend called me Maritsa once, but it doesn't sound right. Can you help me? What about Maritsaki? Does that work? Lol, I just want a cute name like that
