I heard this greek ( i believe) song, and I know it is not spelled this way, but it sounds EXACTLY like "sapato gratis" when the guy was singing it. I thought it was interesting because "zapato gratis" means "free shoe" in Spanish. I was wondering if someone could tell me what this means....

I am very interested in learning the Greek that was used in the New Testament.

I don't know where to start. I tried picking up a few books from my local Library, but they were not very detailed.

My grand mother on my mothers side is from the island of Lemnos Greece. She left property there when she left for the USA and I am trying to locate who and how to verify its location and registry if any to legally sell it for my mother or possibly retire there myself. The only t hing we know is the name of the town its in, but no one seems to know its exact location on the island. I need some help on advice and possible contacts that could help with finding out more info before I make the trip over. I do not speak Greek and my mother is too old to make the trip. This subject has been on her mind for 75 years and I would like to finalize it for ASAP. There has been some contact about it in the past several years from a friend she had over there but the friend has since passed and we do not know who to contact on the island.
