i need to write an epic (at LEAST 4 pages) about a story of a journey (with a hero of course) that has to do with greek mythology. i can use odysseus, one of the greek gods, or make up my own character.

What's the best online way to learn to speak & write Greek?
that's my question, and btw
how do you say in Greek the possessive pronouns, there are any declinations. Can you tell me an advice about my Greek learning, an advice that can make things easier for me.
Much appreciated.
im finding too many translations for this: can someone give me the right translation.
from English to Greek: Jesus is Standing
thanks.
It's pronounced as I-ree-na A-nu-ar.
Oh and the Minotaurs too.
The original Greek, Hebrew and Arabic OT and NT bibles talk about Griffins, Mandrakes, Succubi, Cerberus, Minotaurs and all those other Pagan Mythological creatures. But the new "Modern Bibles" changed the words, such as Mandrakes are now "Happy Apples" or Lilith the Succubus is now "Night Owl".
What happened to all of these beautiful creatures that the original bible is so sure are real?
Did God kill off more of his beautiful creations...AGAIN?!?
I'm especially pissed about the disappearance of Lilith and the Griffins, I wouldn't mind having my soul devoured by a busty redhead succubus or riding a Griffin to work and school.

I have no financial or personal obligations. I also have family in various parts of Greece. I'm looking to move to Athens or neighborhing region. My ultimate goal is to relocate my life. I speak Greek.

The Holy Bible, as viewed by us Christians, is God's divine word. It is divinely inspired, albeit written through a human medium.
So was Homer supposedly inspired by the gods to write The Iliad and the Odyssey, for example? Or were those epic pieces of writing his own, and they just alluded to the Greek gods?
And in the juxtaposition of Homer's writing and the Holy Bible, are we really comparing apples and apples?
Hey Invisible Talker- yes, indeed. Thank you for having inspired this question. Thank you also for your response. Good answers, folks.
Are there any similarities between the two?
Wasn't the first Bible in Greek? and it talk's about Hades. Do you think this is parellel in someway?

Appearances are deceptive.
That is what I want to translate.
Greece is well known (or infamously known, depending on who you talk too) for it's City-States. I know that during the Greco-Persian Wars the Greek cities were still divided into City-States, but were they still in that state during the Fourth Macedonian War, when Rome fully occupied all of Macedonia and Greece?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to find "Romans 11:17-21" as it would appear in ancient greek (the book itself, not the actual verse) I would also like to see the phrase "Grafted in". It would also be helpful if someone could tell me whether using roman numerals to depict verse numbers is appropriate for a christian and if so how to depict the verses above. thanks
In the last year or two, I have fallen in love with Greece. And I hope in the future to go there, but how hard is it to speak Greek? and if you know it how do you recommend me going to learn it?
