I'm an independent student at a university with the most active Greek life in the nation and I'd like to create a shirt for the independent students. Not to demote Greek life, because I know it's great for some people, but there seems to be a misconception that independent students don't participate in philanthropy, form strong relationships, or hold themselves up to the same expectations as students in sororities or fraternities.
bahaha, that looks bizarre, but I'll take it, thanks!

Basically, this is one of the hardest part of the SAT since new words are being brought out everyday therefore nobody cannot possess all words in their mind. But I heard the learning Greek root word (Prefixes and Suffixes) Will help you a lot than just memorizing some words in SAT booklets. Would it be smart to study the roots first and once u know it, go onward to the real words? Thanks
My main point: Will you do really well if you learned all the Greek Prefixes and Suffixes roots?(Vocabulary section)

My husband's grandfather immigrated to Baltimore, MD in 1875 from the Isle of Crete, Greece, but I have not been able to find him on any of the Immigration Records or Ship Manifests. We know his name to be John Zarbs, but some of the census reports have it spelled as Zarps, Zark, Zarbes, Zerbes & Zarbis. I was told that he may have changed his name upon entering this country. Any idea what his name is in Greek, and what name I should be looking for? Thank you.

Hey guys, I am looking to learn Greek. However, my university doesn't offer it so I am on my own. What is the best resource you have come across. I am tempted by Rosetta Stone, but it seems expensive. euxaristo!
